I found Copper and Brass Paper Goods at a Village Market ATL event. I knew immediately that I would be a forever fan of this Black-owned paper goods shop—and the fact that it’s owned by my Spelman sister made me love it even more.
Copper and Brass Paper Goods specializes in stationery, wrapping paper, notebooks, and other accessories—and every single item features Black people. When I purchased some wrapping paper, I was impressed not only by how quickly it arrived, but by the quality of the paper. It was much thicker than traditional wrapping paper and didn’t tear easily during the wrapping process. The colors were vibrant and beautiful, and I love how excited people were when they found a present from me wrapped in this beautiful paper. You can choose from a few designs featuring Santa or Mrs. Claus, the Nativity scene, and a Nutcracker, and each design has corresponding tags. If you’re more into bags than wrapping paper, those are available too. They look so good under the Christmas tree!

Outside of wrapping paper, this Black-owned stationery company has all of your paper needs covered. They offer notebooks highlighting Black men and women as leaders, educators, vacation-goers and more. There is also a whole line for HBCUs! A few of the notebooks have corresponding notepads and sticky notes. If you are looking for planner-related items, Copper and Brass has budget sheets and a weekly planner pad. And what’s paper without pens? You can choose from five different styles for all of your note-taking, list making, essay writing, and doodling.
Prices start at $2 for the sticky notes and can run up to $20 for the larger gift bags. If you ask me, these are a steal! The quality of the products and the pride you’ll get from using them and sharing them with your friends and family is worth the price and so much more!
New for the Christmas 2020 season, the owner of Copper and Brass Paper Goods has authored and released a book called Does Santa Look Like Me? Personally, I am so excited to send it to all the little ones in my life.
I am so thankful that I found Copper and Brass Paper Goods and I can’t wait for another Christmas season with their products!
Happy buying!
